Hola, chicos:

Hoy, día 26 de marzo, en la clase de Ciencias Naturales vamos a trabajar un poquito la flora y fauna de los países de la Unión.

¿Qué vamos a hacer? Pues buscar un animal que vive en todos los países integrantes.

y haced un resumen con la vida y costumbres del animal y un dibujo.

Si os sobra tiempo podéis buscar algo más sobre la flora y fauna de la Unión.

Today, 26th of March, in Sciences class we are going to work a little bit the flora and fauna of the countries from the Union. 

What are we going to do? We are going to look for an animal that lives in all the countries from the Union.

And make a summary with the life and costumes of the animal and a picture.

Hoy gracias a las maestras de matemáticas (Laura, Fátima y Marivi) hemos tenido más tiempo para hacer nuestro trabajo:

Primero usamos el ordenador; entramos en nuestro blog y estuvimos dando nuestra opinión sobre las actividades que estamos haciendo sobre Europa. 

Today, thanks to the teachers of Maths (Laura, Fátima and Mariví) we have had more time to do our job: 

Firstly, we used the computers; we entered in our blog and we were giving our opinion about the activities that we are making about Europe. 

Repartimos los países de la Unión Europea, de modo que cada uno tuvimos que buscar información en internet de 2 países: la capital, la moneda, el idioma, la bandera, imágenes del país, monumentos, un instrumento musical típico de cada país...

We assigned the countries of the European Union, for each one had to look for the information of two countries in the Internet: the capital, the currency, the flag, images of the country, monuments, a typical 

instrument of each country….

Fue muy divertido y estamos muy ilusionados . Hemos organizado el trabajo para las próximas semanas y hemos estado hablando de qué podemos hacer.

It was very funny and we are very excited. We have organized the work for the following weeks and we have been talking about what we can do. 

Cada día un compañero tiene tiene que hacer el diario y colgarlo en el blog. A mi me ha tocado hacer el de ayer, lunes 24 de marzo ( y colgarlo hoy) . Espero que os haya gustado mi publicación .

Europe, Europe what?

And so we reached  Friday 21st March.

On this day students had to search on internet some issues on Europe Day. At the beginning we didn't know much on the topic so we had to surf on the net.

But at the end we realized the word 'Europe' meant things that were not on internet.

For most of us Europe was :

GROUP OF COUNTRIES  /   HUGE AREA  /   PEACE  / HAPPINESS  /    FREEDOM

This is the sumary of the English lesson 21st March.

Guys, would you like to take part in a competition?

The teacher arrived and asked if we felt like taking part in a competiton published in DOE.

Students: 'DOE????????'

Teacher:  'Yes. The official page in Extremadura where decrees are published.

Students:  'Decrees?????'

Teacher:   'Yes, decrees, rules to be followed, grants... For example, you have books because a decree was published in DOE.

Students.   'Ahhhhhh!' Can we see what the DOE says about our contest?

Teacher:  'Sure. Take your laptops, write your usernames, passwords, go to Google, wirte DOE Extremadura and... Here it is. '

And we read the rules of the contest. Soufiane, Hicham, Bouchara, Hamza, Mohamed...were reading the most important parts of the DOE.

Students:  'Some Art task...!'

Teacher:  'That's right'.

Houda:   'teacher, teacher, teacher... I have an idea!!!!'

And Houda gave a great idea. But it's a secret we`ll reveal later.

Teacher:  'But we`ll also have to create a poster and a blog.' Would you like to participate? If you say no, we won't do it'.

The students cried  'yes' all at once. The award is a great incentive. They see themselves travelling to Barcelona, Granada... They are so sure they are going to get the prize that the teacher must explain that that will be so difficult...

Students.  'yes, yes, you say so but we don't believe you'.

Teacher.  'Never mind. Open your diaries and write you must think about the contest and Europe and give ideas next day'.
